Read Only SQLITE?

Hello, I'm a new user testing freeblox. I ran into this problem also. If you install from iso, then yum update to centos 6.9 after the first boot, this will break database read/write.

single interface network/sip domain config

Given the topology:

[internet] <--> [ISP router/gateway] <--> [internal lan]

Where blox and private pbx are both on the same internal interface/network, is this an acceptable use case? The documentation seems to imply that two interfaces are required for config. If single nic is an acceptable config, would someone mind posting an example?

I also wanted to report that in the network configuration, where you must set NAT type as STUN or STATIC, if you choose STATIC and try to use a dynamic DNS hostname this will fail as it requires a IP address rather than FQDN.

Matt

Hello Matt,

We don't support other ISO, if you have any requirement to do so, please contact [email protected]

Thanks

It's your ISO ...

$ md5sum Blox-1.0.4-8-stable-x86_64.iso
31aa4b3ad0311ec2c91fc1fb560e4908 Blox-1.0.4-8-stable-x86_64.iso

At first boot :

dhclient eth0
yum clean all
yum update -y
reboot

.. at second boot:

# md5sum freeblox.tar
47f26a3fc161a9f3ee82e23289574495 freeblox.tar

tar -xvf freeblox.tar
cd freeblox

# md5sum freeblox-1.0.4-8.x86_64.rpm
dfdf4f44876d4061dec08d0704ae36d5 freeblox-1.0.4-8.x86_64.rpm

rpm -ivh freeblox-1.0.4-8.x86_64.rpm
reboot

... at third boot login as default admin/admin then try to make a change like the admin password.

Matt

So my config looks like this:
ShoreTel 172.28.202.98 ---> 172.28.202.36(Internal)(Blox)(external)172.28.202.35 --> Fortigate Firewall to Flowroute

Ah, thanks for that! So have you ran into any problems with that on the blox box or STP looping issues? How do you specify 202.35 as the egress nic towards the internet?

ShoreTel Dropping Call After 30-40 seconds

I think I've successfully set up Blox between my ShoreTel PBX and Flowroute.

So my config looks like this:
ShoreTel 172.28.202.98 ---> 172.28.202.36(Internal)(Blox)(external)172.28.202.35 --> Fortigate Firewall to Flowroute (using a VIP)

But for some reason I think the ShoreTel PBX is dropping the call after 30-40 seconds probably because it's not receiving something its looking for.

So I'm not quite sure how to proceed at this point.

Check the signaling logs for the call id (031b3b74-66aaeb22-de3b96) on your shoretel. 30 second timeout sounds like no receipt of the ACK to the 200 OK with SDP. My guess is the contact for the ACK should probably point to the internal interface, but it's going to external or vice versa.

FreeBlox character limit on SIP Registrar server

When adding a new trunk, I was unable to get the FQDN of the registrar in the SIP Registrar field, it seems there is a character limit on that field. I was able to use one of their IP Addresses as a work around.

I don't think I need any support on this issue really, but more of just notifying everyone of this. Thanks!

I ran into this also. The character limitation also exists in the outbound proxy field but there doesn't seem to be one in the "server" field. I also wanted to point out that it states in the informational section "Specify either IP Address:Port or Domain name", but you must specify IP:port to apply. It will not accept a domain name (server field seems to accept domain.name:port though). Does this mean DNS SRV lookup doesn't work?
