First off, I would like to say that the more I learn about this software the better it gets. I really appreciate the hard work that everyone has put into this SBC software. With that said, we don't use any transcoding cards but is there a way to donate?
Ok, we have multiple asterisk PBX boxes behind Blox. We use IP authentication from our outside carriers.

Thanks

What is the best way to route incoming calls to different asterisk boxes. Example: customer A needs to reach PBX A and customer B needs to reach PBX B (for incoming calls). The way we are doing it now is using different Trunk Profiles and Trunk Configurations for each customer (just using different WAN and LAN ports on the same WAN address). We basically route the incoming calls by port number. Is that the best way?

I know that Blox can use domains to route calls, but our carrier doesn't pass any domains with the incoming calls. Only the DID that they are sending the call to which is routed once it gets to the PBX (thank you for getting that fixed last week).
With our old firewall we use different IP addresses to help route the traffic, but we are trying to eliminate some of our static IP addresses with our ISP to save money.

We will be adding Load balancer support (under development), which you can use to match SIP Headers like DID.
But currently it can be done with Domain routing or using different port numbers on same interface as you already have done it.

FYI, we did figure out that using the same "user name" in the multiple trunks will break the system so it no longer connects with WAN and LAN Profiles. That took a little time to undo after we did it and wondered why all the extensions stopped registering. :-)

thx josh

TFYI, we will verify and fix it.

Hello,
Are you using G711 passthrough or T.38 ?
How many concurrent channels for Fax you require ?

In general Blox SBC will protect your PBX and anchors the Media or T.38 as well.

By adding Allo Transcoding Card it supports T.38 Relay and G711u to T.38 (Internal PBX can send G711 samples which will be converted to T.38 by DSP)
Sice it is hardware based it grantee you better completion rate, unlike software T.38 Module,
It provides you option to configure T.38 profiles like bit rates etc.

Let me know if you need any further info, you can also mail us to support@blox.org

Hello Varadhan,
The prupose of a forum is that other users can benefit from previously solved problems (from other user facing the same) and avoiding you from writting the same answers over and over.
As a sugestion, you should reply to people here and not by PM or email.

Maybe?

Thanks!

Once you assign ip manualy and logged in to GUI, go to dashboard and press 'refresh' button on the Network Interface, which should detect and add the interface to the system. Then you can go to network and configure the network in GUI.
