Applied the firmware and Freeblox upgrade (1.0.0-44). Restored my DB and now the firewall status on the dashboard shows disabled.
When I try to enable it in Tools/Troubleshooting it appears to enable but the status never changes on the dashboard.

I'm new to Blox, which looks very promising, and I'm trying to understand how to configure a SBC in the following structure:

IPPBX(Asterisk) ==> SBC(Blox) ==> P-CSCF(OpenIMS)

So far SIP messages from the PBX reach the SBC but I'm having some trouble configuring the SBC to route them to the CSCF.

Upon receiving an INVITE request the routing scripts identify this call as: "BLOX_DBG: blox.cfg: Got Profile info from cache WAN:sip:..."
but it is dropped further ahead: "BLOX_DBG::: blox-invite.cfg: Dropping SIP Method INVITE received from sip:..."

I'm wondering if the following condition must be true to go on in blox-invite.cfg: " if($avp(PBX)) {" which clearly is not.

Is there any configuration example for scenarios like this?

Can you please tell us the version of blox packages installed in your system
You can get the information by running the below command in the console

" rpm -qa | grep blox"

We had verified the configuration backup you had sent to us, the configuration you had done is incomplete.
You have created only sip profiles in the blox,you need to configure roaming user configuration also using the sip profiles created and then try to make calls, please refer the user manual and configuration guide in the website for reference

Hello all,

trying to install blox image on a apu2 hardware. It seems that the installation finishes successfully, but when I try to boot the apu2 for the first time, nothing happens.

Unable to get remote users to register to Digium Switchvox (Asterisk).
Created internal/external profiles, media profile, roaming profile, but still can't get remote users to connect/register.

Anyone else have this issue? Fix?

Installed blox on a VM and installed freeblox. However, when I try to use freeblox to change things, i get the following errors:
Warning: SQLite3Stmt::execute(): Unable to execute statement: attempt to write a readonly database in /home/freeblox/www/htdocs/shield/Model/device_settings_model.php on line 141"
There are about 15 of these that pop up really quick, then vanish with a "settings successfully saved" message. I recorded my desktop so I could capture the errors, as I don't see these getting logged, but then I don't know where the logs are kept.

I went into one of the php files mentioned, and found a reference to db_mgr.php, so I took a look and saw a SQLite database in /etc/freeblox_config/DB . Looking at messages regarding SQLite and this error, it looked like a file permissions problem, so I changed permissions on the DB folder and the files within to 777. I know this is a huge security risk, but I'm just seeing if I can get it to work somehow; unfortunately opening the permissions on these files/this folder did nothing to resolve my problem.

This is a fresh distro install with essentially zero configuration on it; not sure why I can't start basic configuration, did I mess up somewhere in the install, maybe?

What is the best time to reach support? I'm the US. I tried contacting you today at 1pm (-6 UTC), and waited for contact until 5pm, but I'm guessing it's night time in India.

Also, I went wrong when I did a 'yum upgrade', I think, so I did a fresh install, and now freeblox seems to be working.

Unfortunately, I could not configure a network interface, because when adding a new interface the "DEVICE" only has "None" available to select. I tried rebooting to fix, and on reboot something deleted my network configuration. Using 'setup' again didn't work to restore the configuration. I manually created /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 and got my interface working again, but I still can't add any network interfaces or use the 'setup' tool to make changes.

• Download the latest Blox-update-x.x.x-stable-64.tgz from the path http://blox.org/downloads (DOWNLOAD TO UPGRADE BLOX x.xx.xx STABLE HERE)
• Login to the Freeblox GUI and navigate to the path System --> Package Upgrade
• Browse and select the downloaded Blox-Update-x.xx.xx-stable-64.tgz file and click on the upgrade button
• It might take sometime, then it will start upgrading. System will reboot once the upgradation got completed.
• Please check the screenshot for reference

• Download Freeblox.tar file from the path http://blox.org/downloads
• It will redirect the page to http://www.allo.com/sbc.html
• Extract the archive freeblox.tar file, using following command
• tar xf [download_path]/freeblox.tar
• copy the freeblox-x.xx.xx.x86_64.rpm file to the blox machine
• Upgrade the currently installed freeblox package to the latest one using the command " rpm -Uvh freeblox-x.xx.xx.x86_64.rpm "
• Reboot the system once the upgradation gets completed

Is the load balancing or routing by DID been included with the new version?

My provider gave me a 32-digit random string as a username. After several frustrating days of trying to get service up and running, I noticed that the last digit of my username is being truncated. The username as it was given to me by the provider is:

'589ca85ef4144aedab4c1efe25de8f2e'

which you can see in this image from my admin console:



in the database it appears as:



and it in the SIP REGISTER it appears:



Note that in the last two images the username is missing the 'e' character on the end.

What gives?
