Good morning!
We are trying to configure a link between a Gateway and an Asterisk, with the Blox SBC in the middle:
Gateway -> Blox SBC -> Asterisk
We created two SIP Profiles (Internal in eth0 and External in eth2) and one Trunk with the asterisk data.
When are trying to do a call from our gateway to an extension configured in the Asterisk, through the Blox SBC, but it doesn’t work well: the call doesn’t arrive at the Asterisk.
When we see a Wireshark of the call, we appreciate that the call goes to the SBC from the gateway, but the SBC replies first with a ‘100 Giving a try’ message, and then with a ‘408 Request Timeout’ message.
In addition, when we see the Status tab on the Freeblox GUI, this trunk appears in the ‘REGISTERING_STATE’ status. It should be ‘REGISTERED’, isn’t it?

We don’t know exactly if we are doing something wrong.
  • - What are the function of the sip profiles in this scenario?
  • - To do the connection between the Gateway and the SBC, we put two SIP Profiles (internal and external) and one Trunk. It has to be like this, or we need to have two different trunks? (one from the Gateway to the SBC, and other from the SBC to the Asterisk) And in that case, we need to put the same SIP Profiles that we created to this new trunk, or we need to create another two SIP Profiles in different ports?
  • - We created a rule in Routes tab, that routes the calls to the Asterisk IP. The interface that we specify in this tab, is the interface that the calls coming from the Gateway, or is the interface from which the call has to go to the Asterisk?
  • - It is necessary to configure some configuration files manually? In that case, what configuration files we need to configure and how?

I’ll wait forward to hearing from you,
Thanks,
