Hi There
I am looking at using Blox as a viable SBC solution, however, my requirements are as follows:
1) Perform Upper Registrations whereby the SIP headers are rewritten when passed on to the back end PABX. (Not an additional Via header) 2) It needs to keep an entry of which endpoints are registered on the multiple back end PABXs and which are not. 3) It needs to allow for RTP pass through whereby the RTP header will be rewritten in the SBC to use itself as an RTP Proxy. 4) It needs to be able to trans-code where necessary. 5) It needs to be able to talk to the back end PABXs on separate internal interfaces while accepting public traffic on the external interface. 6) It needs to be able to determine which PABX to send the call/registration to depending on the domain used.
Are these options all possible with Blox or OpenSIPs?
Thanks a lot for your time. edited by Dalton on 6/13/2016

Hello Dalton,
Blox Supports above mentioned expect below cases 1. Upper Registration is possible only via Transaction it would be adding the Via header on the Request towards internal PBX, but it still hides the internal topology information from Via Header on the response towards the client. 4) It needs to be able to trans-code where necessary. - to do this you need allo transcoding card. 6. Domain based routing will be available soon in the next release.

I an considering using blox but i have a requirement. 1. I have a inbound leg from a Asterisk running A2billing SIP it is sending to 2. a outbound GSM Voice gateway using SIP in the call setup it gets a voice message the carrier saying "the SIM is out of money" 3. We want to route he call to another Voice Gateway using the same dialed number and connect the call for the caller.
Can Blox do this. The call is all g711 no codec transcoding.

Can we get the packet capture for the response "SIM is out of money" so that we can analysis the trace and inform you. Blox wont check the voice packet response from the GSM gateway carrier, so if there is any negative reply in signalling it can be manipulated.

Does blox support call transfer (refer message to transfer an active call to another number)?
