Hello,

First off, thank you for all the hard work on this project, it looks very promising! smile

I'm pretty excited to try Blox out as an SBC to replace the Asterisk (FreePBX) box I'm currently using in front of Cisco CUCM 8.6. I wanted to float my current (and desired) config to see if it is feasible via Blox before I undergo installing, configuring etc.

At this time the call flow from my sip provider (Voip.MS) is as follows:

Voip.MS <---SIP TRUNK w USER AUTH---> [ Asterisk <---SIP TRUNK w IP Auth---> CUCM ]
**** note that the items in brackets above [] are on my internal LAN

Asterisk is being utilized as a SIP UA to auth to voip.ms and literally passes all inbound calls back to CUCM and vice versa (so outbound calls from CUCM hit the Asterisk box and are immediately routed out to Voip.MS). There is a firewall in between the public network SIP provider (Voip.MS) and my LAN however it's not very relevant in this context as it's not really doing much here.

In the current config both CUCM and Asterisk have 1 Eth int each on the LAN with internal IP addresses and no dedicated WAN interface on Asterisk and I would prefer to keep it that way in efforts to minimize allocating WAN IPs for specific functions (I only have 1 WAN IP with no option to add more)

In short the goal I'm looking to acheive here is:
- Blox replaces Asterisk and registers to the public Voip.MS SIP trunk (public, user based auth)
- Blox also registers to CUCM via SIP trunk (internal, IP-based auth)
- All inbound traffic from the Voip.MS SIP trunk hits Blox (where it is registered) and is routed directly to CUCM where everything else happens (digit manipulation, dial plans etc etc)
- All outbound traffic from CUCM that is destined for an external phone number is routed to Blox then directly to the Voip.MS SIP trunk
- Blox has only internal IPs (even if there are two since it looks like 2 NICs are a requirement)

thanks!
b
