Hi Guys,
We have been using BLOX for some time now, and we would like handsets to register using a URL instead of IP.
Lets say the the url my.url.co.za , which has a destination of 1.2.3.4 (Blox SBC) The SBC will forward all registrations to the WAN IF to a local PBX ip of 10.1.1.21:5060.
If we register handsets directly to 1.2.3.4, registration goes through and we can make and receive calls, if we register to my.url.co.za, we get registration on the PBX but cannot make or receive calls.
When attempting to make calls, invites are being sent to the SBC but getting no further, please see the PCAP
Im not really sure where to go from here, please can you assist?

Hello Noah,
Can you please run the following command and get us the output
$ rpm -qa | grep blox
if you have older version,I suggest you to upgrade to the newer version which is 1.0.6-19
You wanted to do domain routing, you need to add the domain e.g my.url.co.za in the SIP domain (bind port if you use other than 5060) Then configure roaming user -> inbound route by selecting the domain from dropdown and specify destination domain & uri
You can chk the log file /var/log/opensips.log whether it is processed or dropped due to mismatch with domain
Thanks

I tried that but i cant add another roaming user as it doesnt allow me to select the internal or external SIP profiles is this because i already have a roaming user setup using those profiles?

For the same external SIP profile used in roaming user, you can multiple domain and assign different destination in roaming profile

Question about the update, what does it include/change/fix?
A problem I have is viewing the log files on the interface, the collumns arent long enough to view all the details of the IP's etc.

Hi, You can find the fix/changes available in the below link, http://forum.blox.org/topic149-version--available-for-download.aspx
For viewing the details of the IP's and other log information you just need to take the move over the particular column, it will display the details.
Thanks and Regard Blox Support Team. Noah_SS wrote:
