Good morning

I've been having difficulties to upgrade to Freeblox 1.0.6-19 following the guide found at http://forum.blox.org/topic226-how-to-install-blox--as-of-.aspx

I am trying to locate the Freeblox 1.0.4.8 (according to the guide it's freeblox.tar.old1) but it is no longer on the FTP server.

When I try to install the freeblox GUI 1.0.6-19, the GUI loads, but when I try to do a blox package update, it fails.

Would it be possible to replace the GUI 1.0.4.8 back on the FTP server, or provide a procedure to update the blox core from 1.0.4.8 to 1.0.6 ?

Thank you!

As your freeblox(GUI) version is out dated so you cannot upgrade the Blox from the present version of freeblox(GUI). To upgrade the Blox you need to upgrade the freeblox to the latest version from the command prompt.

Please follow the below steps to install the Freeblox

Extract the archive freeblox.tar file, using following command
tar xf [download_path]/freeblox.tar
copy the freeblox-x.xx.xx.x86_64.rpm file to the blox machine
Upgrade the freeblox package using the command " rpm -Uvh freeblox-x.xx.xx.x86_64.rpm "
Reboot the system once the installation gets completed
Login to the freeblox GUI using the WAN IP address
Refer the User manual for details regarding accessing theGUI.

Thanks

That is the solution.

One of problems was that I was upgrade Blox before freeblox.

I have upgraded freeblox and next blox and now both system are upgrade correctly to 1.0.6.19.

Thanks & Regards,
